Now I’d like to get the Imperial paladins and the Korantian League properly taking part in the campaign. Surely, both won’t remain inactive once the extend of the threat is revealed. Maybe the Lanis cult can play the same role as the Order of Truth.

Thanks again!

We're very much in the Emperor's back yard if you place events in Brotomagia - ideal territory for Paladin action. As written ( and of course YTMV), the Emperor would be keen to avoid any interference from the Korantine League so close to his capital, and indeed be enthusiastic to show how he can deal with such matters. Aside from his own establishment at Hilantistra, there would be many Thennalt notables of Brotomagia he could call on.

But there's always the threat of foreign interference - perhaps Jedekiah is sponsored by the Jekkarenes, whether he knows it or not. And since any kind of beast man can come crawling out of the depths of Sard, it could be some time before anyone noticed that an incursion involves something more terrifying than usual...

Placing events here could also segway nicely to Prishad's Daughter scenario in SoK. Solisand was once home to a Korantine renegade sorcerer, and it could be that Jedekiah wants its secrets as much as anyone.

Great idea on Brotomagia! :ugeek:

My idea is to involve Valsus, the murky merchant from Thyrta, in providing arms and equipment of Jekkarene origin to Jedakiah. But without Valsus knowing the full extend of Jedakiah schemes.
Solisand was once home to a Korantine renegade sorcerer, and it could be that Jedekiah wants its secrets as much as anyone.

Yes, lots of possibilities here. He could also have visited Brasilas’ lab before The Prishad Daughter events and leaved important clues for the character to discover.
PS : Maybe this thread should be moved to the "Supplements" sub forum ?
