Did anyone integrate it into their game when it was online?

I have a laptop as GM, but I reallllyyy try to avoid my players having any sort of electrical devices as part of the game. They get distracting really quickly - but maybe it's because they're all millenials and we don't have any sort of self control...

I have a android tablet with it on. Still have it. My players are often not that good at learning rules. So I use it to quickly give them options if they are unsure. It also find if faster to read the details of the special effect there than looking it up in a book or PDF while we play.

What killed it off? Just lack of support, or was there a copyright/trademark issue?

I would really LOVE to se it again updated with the extra Mythras special effects. The combat cards is nice but the app rely speeds up combat.

It's not killed off, and it's not an issue of copyright or trademark. The developer has had some health concerns and these have limited his ability to do the necessary updates.

Okay, that's good to know, as it's something that should be quite easy to code in JavaScript, but would be much less useful if you couldn't use the rulebook text in it. If Hasaph doesn't beat me to it, I'll write that up once I've finished my current online course. It'll be a website rather than an app, but that shouldn't make it any less usable.

Not just the millennials. Our game is almost all boomers and usually everybody at the table has a tablet or laptop out. They get used to look up rules, show pictures of things we want to illustrate, roll dice, and just generally fuel conversation. Though I will admit that our games are about 2/3 actual gaming and 1/3 just shooting the ****.

Lately we've been playing Classic Fantasy set in the world of Skyrim. The GM is an avid Skyrim player and uses the game to set scenes. Routinely he'll pull up images from the game and say "this is where you are". It's a really nice add to the game.

Please contact me directly before doing any kind of work like this. As I said, the app isn't dead, and we don't want to see competing products popping up in case the app finds its way back to Google Play and possible Apple App Store.
